As A is the common ancestor so the inbreeding coefficient of I is given by-

Inbreeding coefficient = (1/2)n (* n= number of nodes)

Here n is 3 so inbreeding coefficient is (1/2)3 = 1/8.

Now it is given that inbreeding coefficient of I is 1/8 and we to find the inbreeding coefficient of common ancestor A = (1/8)1/n , here n is 3 so the answer would be 1/2.
