Answer #1

The Romans were a cruel and eventually collapsed society. The main reason Christianity was not tolerated was because you only need to serve and adore one master, the one true God, with Christianity. The Romans did not, and if they had opted both to serve Ceaser and Jesus, Christianity would have been good. Keeping Christian culture means that in Exodus 20: 3-4 you must not worship any other deities or idols, keeping the bible, and the Ten Commandments state clearly.

The Romans saw this as rebellious Christians who turned from Roman culture to Christian culture. This caused the Romans to kill all Christians and feed them to the lions in front of a multitude of people in different harsh ways. The Romans thought this would stop the Christian population from growing, but not. The Christians expanded and eventually the Romans collapsed into internal failure.
