Answer #1

Fermentation is a metabolic process in which an organism converts a carbohydrate, such as starch or a sugar, into an alcohol or an acid. For example, yeast performs this process to obtain energy by converting sugar into alcohol. Bacteria perform fermentation, converting carbohydrates into lactic acid. It is completed from start to end within one to three days. But perfection takes more time.

In the fermentor, the fermentation of carbohydrates is started with lots of bubbles in the start. More time you provide, the clear the solution get from the initial turbidity due to bubbles indicating process is preceeding.

The products are varieties of alcohol depending on the time and amount provided for fermentation provided.

I hope you understand the concept. Kindly provide us with a feedback.
