Lab experiment given in cell biology
Using a microscope to examine the prepared 16 slides related to cells and tissues in our lab manual. Given a time frame of only 2 minutes at each microscope station we had to observe and identify each slide to distinguish the type of tissue and cell it is and it’s location.
Include a statement about the future scientific directions suggested by your findings from the experiment. This is not a section to name all the mistakes you did in the experiment; but rather to suggest future experiments using as base the results obtained in the lab. How can I relate what I did in this experiment with another future experiment?
during the study of cell types and their location, one can suggest many future scientific directions based on results like-
a) based on cell/tissue type- specific staining procedures best suited to study such cells/tissues; magnification power best for studying such types based on the morphological characteristics; preparation of slides like any specific modifications required to study specific structure based on type can be inferred from the above results.
b) based on locations of cells/tissues- cells/tissue extraction procedures can be modified based on the microscopic findings so that morphology can be maintained.
above said scientific directions can be given based on the inference from results of 16 studied slides which will further our knowledge based on these cell types in future.
