A) Continue to operate even though she is experiencing an economic loss .

Where MC ( Marginal Cost ) or Price (P) = ATC , it is the break even point or zero profit point .

Here P < ATC : it means that the price charged per unit is not covering the average total cost , so the firm will face loss

But P > AVC : it means that price is covering atleast the average variable cost , so it is loss but should continue to operate in shut down zone .

P = AVC : shutdown point .
