How you think the allele frequencies are being affected by genetic drift in our simulation. Do you think this is speeding up or slowing down the rate of allele change? Why? Plot a graph of the H (p) allele frequency over generational time (show a minimum of three generations) showing what you would expect to happen if both natural selection and genetic drift are happening. genetic drift can be explained as the change in the frequency of an allele in a given poluation due to random sampling of the organisms. the presence of different copies of alleles in the particular polulation determines the effect of genetic drift on those particular alleles. this is explained as; if there are less number of copies of the allele is present then the effect of genetic drift will be more. likewise; if there are large number of copies are present then the effect will be much smaller.

this is because; the presence of particular type of allele in the offspring is truly occur by chance. so, each type of allele will have equal chance to get into offsprings.

sometimes; if the number of copies of allele is less then after some generations there will be a chance of dissapperance of that allele. this is because; the individual with that allele should survive and reproduce. so, the allele frequency is being affected by genetic drift.

the rate of allele change is slowing down because of the disaapearance of different copies of alleles. why because as the different copies of alleles get dissappeared, there will be no rate of change of allele. so, it is slowing down.
