b.) around 2360 cm-1
we can get information about functional group present in the compound using these peaks
Ketone - peak present at 1720 cm-1 as usually shown by ketones, so most probably there should be keton present.
-CN ( nitrile)- peak at 2360 cm-1 is in the range of C and NItrogen triple bond streching, so there is a strong possibility of -CN to be present there.
This way we can expect these two groups to be present in the compound
