Answer #1

Solution:

Given:

Mean = \mu = 134

Standard deviation = \sigma = 30

We have to find mean and standard deviation of sampling distribution of sample mean.

Sample size = n = 51

Mean of sampling distribution of sample mean is:

\mu_{\bar{x}}=\mu

\mathbf{{\color{DarkOrange} \mu_{\bar{x}}= 134}}

Standard deviation of sampling distribution of sample mean:

\sigma_{\bar{x}}= \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}

\sigma_{\bar{x}}= \frac{30}{\sqrt{51}}

\sigma_{\bar{x}}= \frac{30}{ 7.141428 }

\mathbf{{\color{DarkOrange} \sigma_{\bar{x}}= 4.201 }}
