Organizational behavioural also known as organizational psychology it is the study of human behaviour in organizational setting. One of the perspective of psychology can help which is about building relationship, interacting with the collagues or other employees. By knwoing mindset through varioua psychometric tools one can take measures of increasing satisfaction or retention level. Psychologist make find some flaws in training or hiring practises.
Social psychologist would help in understamding how an employee's behaviour is different when working alsone and when in team, what difficuilies is the employee facing in the team, or is the confidence level boosting when working in group.
Sociology would study from the large scale point of view than studying the individual mind of employees. They would social perception of organization, policies, rules and its laws. It would study group or an organization in a whole as how the leaders arise, what leadership techniwues are used. What is the point of view of union or working class
Anthropology is study of different cultures and and enviornment that would help us inunderstanding the values or attitudes of employees. Suppose if we study beliefs of Asean region people vs to American employees that is definately going to be helpful for us in designing appropriate tasks or the team environement for each. Eg: In India, which is diverse country, many people travel from one location to other for better prospects in work. Hence in software companies various regional festivals are celebrated and also festive food is kept even if they are in minority.
