By definition, there is expansion of the system to the environment.

Work is done by the system to the exterior. Even though you will probably not be able to measure the change of volume in the exterior.

W = P*(Vf-Vi)

There is a change in the Volume of the system, the pressure is constant with respect of the outside (1 atm probably) therefore, there is work done from the system to the environment
