Superior-subordinate- Communication

Think about supervisors you have had (whether in current jobs or previous ones). Was the supervisor male or female? What type of management style did he/she have? What qualities were important in the supervisor you felt to be most effective, and did they have an ineffective qualities?

I have had a male supervisor for around 6 years in my professional career and I believe that I am very lucky to have him as a supervisor because he always believed in cooperative style of leadership and valued all the stakeholders in the process that includes, the employees, the clients and the organization itself. He valued clients and employees both because he believed that both are equally important for the success of the business.

The most effective way either that I believe he possess is an effective communication approach along with sound knowledge of the process including both from the business and technical perspective. I believe that his urge to learn new and latest trends and technologies is another aspect that makes him unique as a manager and because if which he was aware if almost everything that is happening in the oriject. I don't remember an ineffective quality he poossess that had a negative impact on the organization or team.
