Given Data:

Channel is noiseless and ranges from 1.5Mhz to 3.5Mhz

target to achieve : 20Mbps

now we change the Mbps to bps .

then 20Mbps=20971520 bps.

we know the formula to calculate number of signal levels is:

a communication system must use 2n levels to represent n bits.

now we know that n=20971520 bits

so we require log220971520 levels=24.3levels,

hence we require 25 levels to achieve bitrate of 20Mbps
