Step C = b, oxidised to give aldehyde.

Step D = f , Me(-) attacks at the carbonyl carbon and there after one proton is abstracted from the water and 1° alcohol is formed.

Step E =g , oxidation occur and ketone is produced.

Step F = h , water addition in double bond.

Step G = i , primary alcohol to aldehyde by pyridinium chlorocromate and methylene chloride.
