1) When ventricles contract fully, Ventricular volume decreases greatly and ventricular pressure increases greatly.

Cardiac cycle consist of both systole and diastole. Both the atria and ventricles undergo systole and diastole. Systole is the contraction and diastole is the relaxation. The blood flow in the heart occurs from the region of higher pressure to the region of lower pressure. So, when atria contract the pressure inside the atria increases, so that the blood from atria is pumbed into ventricles. Similarly when ventricles contract, the blood pressure within the ventricle rises , so that the blood gets pumbed from ventricles to pulmonary trunk and aorta. The pumbing of blood from ventricles causes a reduction in ventricular volume also.

This ventriculr pressure will eventually decline as the ventricle relaxes.

2) The labelled portion of the diagram indicates Larynx.

Larynx is commonly called as the voice box and it is a hollow tubular structure which is connected to the top of trachea (Wind pipe).The trachea begins just under the larynx. The trachae is divided further into smaller tubes called as Bronchi.
