Answer #1

1. Bar graph

2. Line graph

Importance of different types of graphs - .

Line graph - A line graph would be the best to represent bacterial growth at various time intervals. It is because in this graph we would be determining the temperature of lake at every point of time (Per hour). We would be able to easily make out the temperature at different time. It is because a line graph gives us a shape of the curve which we can identify as bell shaped curve of sigmoid curve and then interpret our data accordingly.

Histogram - we prepare histogram when we have a continuous data. For example we have a data of height of students in a classroom.

Bar graph - we prepare bar graph when we have a discontinuous type of data. For example in the given question we have fat content of 3 brands of doughnuts. For one brand, we have only one value. So you will plotted on a bar graph and means and standard deviation values will be shown on the top of the graph.

Scatter plot - scatter plot is made when we want to show a correlation between two variables. For example a relation between height and weight in Apple fruits.
