4 types of projection are as =

1- conformal projections: accuretly represents the shapes of countries but distort area.

2-equal area projection: accurately represents the size of land masses and oceans, but distort shape, scale and/or angle.a projection can be either conformal or equal area, but never both.

3- equidistant projections: accurately shows the distance between some places, but not other places.

4- true direction projections:(also called equal angle projections) preserve the direction between places .for example if the town x is due north of town y in reality , that will also be true on ghw map.
