Uncertainity principle tells us that we cannot measure the two conjugate variables at the same time with arbitary high precision. It is the property of the microscopic and the macroscopic object. At a moment you will try to measure one variable with very high precision, you will loose the other. While increasing or decreasing the volume of the object, your measuring instrument will be the same and will have same uncertainity in measuring the dimension of the object and so change in volume should not affect the uncertainity principle. In short, we can say that uncertainity will be the same in both the cases and hence you should go with option (b) i.e. it has no impact whatsoever.
