The perfect being best describes the concept of God at work in Descartes' ontological argument.

Descartes holds the idea that the one who created this perfect earth and all it holds in complete perfection should also be a perfect being. If god is not a perfect person, Descartes argues that he wouldn’t have been able to create this perfect earth.
