ANSWER 4 : (c) option is correct.

(c) option is correct because it is argon(Ar), a noble gas and we know that electron configuration of noble gases are stable that means it can't give and take and single electron from outside. As for stable electron configuration, configuration should be like 2,8,18,32 and so on. And now if we look argon(Ar) which has atomic number 18 , and so its configuration will be 2,8,18. And due to this reason it is stable.
