let us take 100 gm of precursor . In the first step of coupling the yield is 75%.

Weight of the product = 75 x 100 /100 = 75 gm

In the second step of coupling of the reaction the yield of the reaction 75%

Weight of the product = 75 x 75 /100 = 56.25 %

Hence 100 gm of precursor gave 56.25 gm of the product after 2 step. hence the overyield of the reaction 56.25 %

Correct answer is option B
