Various experiments conducted on plants shows that the differences between the aluminum resistant plants and aluminum hyperaccumulators lie on their root based response to the metallic environment in which they grow.

Hyper accumulators have high tolerance to metallic stress whereas, aluminum resistors show least tolerance to the aluminum stress.
