An example of a property right that an employee can receive at our workplace could the use of laptops. With the advent of technology, it is the ability to work outside of traditional offices with the aiding of technology that the employees are made more efficient in their performances besides various other gains that the Firm also benefits in the process.

There are various options available in the industry for data communications that are facilitated with the use of Technology, such as data analytics and tools, laptops and Computers, Telecommunication tools, to mention a few. A company can provide laptops to be used for official purpose even when the employee is out of the work site.

When applying the data communication tools in Laptops or Computers, various functions could be undertaken that could match with the business requirements by the Firm or its employees, for eg.,

• E-mail: A formal way of communication various options of Employee Retirement and their benefits

Advantages: quickly written, sent, and stored; low cost for distribution.

• Instant messaging on official platform such as Lync or on informal platform such as the social networking sites like our Whats-App group.

Advantage: “real time” e-mail transmitted straight to the receiver’s desktop.

• Videoconferencing:

This shall be an extension of an intranet or extranet that permits face-to-face virtual meetings via video links. Our Leaders could organize a seminar and have a face-to-face conversation with the members of the Organization to understand their apprehensions and clear the same.

Hence, laptop, as a property rights, could be offered to the employees.
