Answer :

communication : communication is a interaction between the two or more people .

- information technology have the great importance in the health care to improve the quality of care .information technology have the various electronic methods to store the patient data ,and it helps to share the data from one person to other in the health care team .

- it improves the communication and collaboration with in the health care team by providing the adequate ,needed information to the health care team .

ex : if we take the radiology department ,if the patient has a scan ,after the procedure it should directly sent to the physician with out any fail ,so here information technology helps in improving of communication and collaboration between the radiologist and physician .

2) critical thinking : it is defined as ability to think clearly and rationally about what to do and what to believe.it includes the ability to engage in a reflective and independent thinking

- it includes making the reasoned judgement that are logical and well thought out and decision making ability

example : if we take the oldage ,bedridden people they most likely prone for the bedsores or decubitous ulcers .so if we try to change the positions every 2 nd hourly ,the risk of decubitous ulcers are lessen .

another example : i have experienced one event ,that is when i was travelling in a bus one old lady has the choking with some food partical ,and she is difficulty to breath ,immediately i went to her and i did heimlich manoeuver after this her choking was relieved .

3) teaching and learning :

i feel to encourage the patient reciprocity and cooperation is the most important principle of teaching and learning .

- because in health care setting ,as a health care provider we need to educate the patient for early recovery and we will always try to give efficient and quality health care by improving the reciprocity in the patient as well as by creating cooperation with the patient

- another principle is active learning ,if we are giving health education to the patient about his personal hygiene ,he has to listen properly to put in to action.

4) leadership and management : main difference between the leadership and management is that leader have people follow them while manager have people who work for them.

- leadership refers to an individual ability to influence ,motivate and enavle other to contribute toward organizational success.

- management cosists of controlling a group or set of entities to accomplish a goal

ex : in a hospital ,head nurses act as a leader to motivate the staff nurses to work effectively .and nursing superintendent act as a manager to control the head nurses as well as staff nurses to work effectively .

5) evidence based practice : evidence based practice is a conscientious use of current best evidence in making the decisions about patient care.

- it is a systematic search for and critical appraisal of the most relevant evidence to answer a burning clinical question.

Example : application of banana leaves for the burns patient to cure the burns early .

- another evidence based practice is ,application of cabbage leaves for the breast engorgement have the effective result and it relieves the breast engorgement with out adverse effects .
