Consider addressing the following topics:
How the shoulder girdle movement is related to the
total movement of the shoulder.
Explain how the sternoclavicular joint helps with some
movements.
1.
Shoulder gridle is formed by combination of bones, and it combines with arm present in opposite sides. Shoulder gridle movement contain six different movements, they are depression(it helps in the downwards motion of sholder gridle), elevation(it helps in the updirection movement of sholder gridle), upward and downward rotations(movement of scapula towards ribcage), abduction(scapula move from spinal column) and adduction(scapula move towards spinal column). Muscles and joints present in the shoulder gridle helps in the movement of shoulder. Rhomboid muscles, pectoralis minor, levator scapulae are some of the muscles present in shoulder gridle.
2.
Sternoclavicular joint is the portion, which connect to the entire shoulder and upper extremity(axial skeleton). Clavicle and scapula motion or movement is performed with the help of sternoclavicular joint. For an example, we are massaging our head, it is possible because of sternoclavicular joint. Sternoclavicular joint is the only one joint connected to axial skeleton.

Provide an example of an athletic movement of the shoulder, hip, and knee joint (3 total movements). For each example provide the agonist and antagonist muscles. Furthermore, explain what part of the movement the concentric or eccentric phase is. (15 points) Supinated Biceps Curl Example: Agonist: Elbow flexors (Biceps) Antagonist: Elbow extensors (Triceps). The lowering phase of the biceps is the eccentric phase and the upward phase is the concentric phase.
Consider the movement of throwing a frisbee. Consider the following joints during each of these movements: the shoulders, elbows, wrists, intervertebral joints, hip joints, knees, and ankles. Describe the movement of these joints that take place during the action of throwing a frisbee. For example you can record "abduction or flexion" next to the "shoulder" column depending on the movement if there is a joint that can be described that is not listed, include it in the other section and...
SG SC Break exercise into two primary movement phases such as a lifting phase and lowering phase. For each exercise, determine the following for both the shoulder girdle and glenohumeral joint Din Dip Pushing up S phase (1 & 3) The actions occurring at each joint 1 (2 & 4) the agonists (prime movers) for the shoulder girdle and shoulderjoint reach phase of the movement and then list Lowering phase S.T primarily responsible for causing/controlling those movements for each phase...
Assignment Details Consider this unit's topic, and conduct a short article search on topics related to the biological and psychological aspects of aging. Summarize the information in your own words, and include the following in your response: • What did this information highlight, and how does this information relate to the biological and psychological aspects of aging? • Explain situations in which you have seen this first-hand.
Explain the process of An oxidation reduction reaction and how it is related to the movement of electrons. Draw pictures to emphasize your answer.
The following statement or incomplete sentence may have one or more correct answers. Choose the most correct combination of answers to answer the question. Consider the principle: "Simple movements of the body or its parts take place in directions parallel to the body's planes of reference." Choose which of the statement(s) below correctly apply that principle. W. Flexion at the knee joint is a movement that occurs parallel to the sagittal plane. X. Extension at the shoulder joint is caused...
