If a 1.10 kg piece of iron fell from the roof of a building that was 24.0 m tall, what is the maximum temperature change (in °C) that it could experience? (In practice, the temperature change would be much less than this because a significant amount of energy would be dissipated into the ground.) Assume that g = 9.8 m/s2 and Ciron = 460 J/(kg · °C).
