In plants the products of respiration is molecular oxygen. In animals the product is CO2.

CO2 , water and light are reactants of photosynthesis.

  • During light , increased respiration and so animals produce more energy and release CO2.
  • In dark animals respire , increase in co2.
  • In light , plants respire , increase in O2.
  • In dark , plant respire , increase in CO2.
  • In light , decrease in germination of seeds, there fore decrease in co2. (seeds release CO2 while respiration )
  • In dark , incraese in CO2.

  • Positive values indicate that the plant is photosynthesing and negative values shows that plant is undergoing respiration.

  • Measuring CO2 levels in dark plants and animals shows respiration .
  • So, animal -light and dark ; plant in dark , seeds in dark show respiration.

  • Plants in light shows photosynthesis.

  • Yes , it occurs . lIght plant and cellular respiration here denotes it as aerobic respiration. In dark anerobic respiration takes place.
