if you could please help me with knowing the difference between truss and frame and if in this drawing supposed to be called frame or truss.

The main difference between truss and frame is the members in truss are subjected to tension or compression only and in Frames, atleast one is subjected to bending , shear or torsion

So, As the above one is not subjected to any bending, shear or torsion...so the above structure is called TRUSS.
