I am having trouble understanding how the value for k3 is found in this problem. I understand the rest of the problem. If someone could explain the part to me instead of just copying and pasting the solution that would be great.

I am having trouble understanding and interpreting relative risk in a cohort study. From my understanding, it is the ratio of the risk of an exposed group to a risk of a nonexposed group. I do not understand how to interpret the ratio if it's more than 1, less than 1, or equals 1. I do not understand what it means when something has a positive association or negative association.
I am having trouble understanding this question. I don't need every single value worked out I just want to understand what to do so I can work the rest out myself! The question is written exactly as writtten: The pK of an acid is 4.16. Calculate the pH of a solution of the acid if it is titrated to the following extents. Use the value associated with your student ID: extent of titration with NaOH, percent 0 1 2 3...
Hey I have this assignment I am having trouble understanding how to interact with the ac current in Ohms law. Please show all steps! Thank you! (1 fxii) if Is-(2/30°) A in the circuit below, use phasors and nodal analysis to find ½ IB -j5 Ω 1020 A 6Ω 3Ω V2
I have been looking over and interpreting some sample code and am having some trouble understanding what is going on with a bit of slicing syntax. For some context I am working on a computational program that uses method of finite differences approximating temperatures over a square region. Here is some of the code: maxIter = 500 lenX = lenY = 20 delta = 1 Ttop = 100 Tbottom = 0 Tleft = 0 Tright = 0 Tguess = 30...
I am having trouble understanding the right hand rule and determining the missing B-field or velocity. Please explain teh simplistic terms of using the right hand rule
I am having trouble balancing the following problem. I am following the steps for a basic solution, but I am coming up with the wrong answer. There is an answer on Chegg, but I am having difficulty following that response. The problems is: Balance the following equation in basic conditions. CoCl2 + Na2O2 --> Co(OH)3 + Cl- + Na+
I have asked this question before but I am having trouble understanding it. If anyone could help explain it to me it would be appreciated please! Can someone please help me with this problem? I am having trouble with figuring it out. Thank you in advanced! The 10x objective has a numerical aperture of 0.25. What would be the smallest distance (in μm) between two objects that can be resolved when using that objective with light at 400 nm?
Hi, i am having trouble understanding how to create a use case , i try with this but it wrong , someone that could help , that is the information , thanks B. Create a set of use cases for the accompaying dentist office system, but do not bother ti identify the steps within each use case. (Just complete the information at the top of the use case form.) When new patients are seen for the first time, they complete...
I'm studying for the MCAT and reviewing equilibrium. I am having trouble understanding why an answer is right. In the reaction H2SO4 (aq) <--> H+ (aq) + HSO4- (aq), the pH has been increased My thought is that because the pH is increased, you are increasing the H+ concentration which is a product. If you increase a product concentration, the reaction should shift left. The answer in the book says it should shift right. Why is that?
