I'm studying for the MCAT and reviewing equilibrium. I am having trouble understanding why an answer is right.

In the reaction H2SO4 (aq) <--> H+ (aq) + HSO4- (aq), the pH has been increased

My thought is that because the pH is increased, you are increasing the H+ concentration which is a product. If you increase a product concentration, the reaction should shift left. The answer in the book says it should shift right. Why is that?
