Anorexia is eating disorder which is fear of gaining weight. Two types are involved in this binge eating or restrictive eating. Following are the consequences - Rapid loss may lead to liver damage,there is loss of lean muscle which causes metabolism to slow down, lose skin may be developed on arms legs, there can gallstones. Treatment includes tailerd meal plan - I guess this is certainly effective instead of binge or restrictive eating. This would consist of balance diet or balance intake which would include nutrition. Counselling - This again is effective methodwhich would address the events to know why the eating disorder prevails and it helps to learn healthier coping skills.
Bulimia - This involved binge eating and purging to control weight - Follwing are the consequences Vomiting can cause variety of consequences such as redning of eyes, damaged teeth, rupture in esophagus, stomach aches and heart burns due to acid. It may also cause dehydration, throat swelling. Treatment would include - again involves counselling as mentioend above followed by anti depressants. Counselling would involve reducing concern about body weight, understandig emotions. Counselling therapies sucg CBT, IPT are the effective treatent as they directly invovle adressing of emotions.
Obesity - Obseity is being extra fat or grossly fat . Health consequences of obseity includes have high blod pressure, type 2 diabetis, coronary heart disease, stroke, gallbladder disease, fatty liver disease, kidney disease. Treatment involves change in behaviour,such as exercise, deitery plan - These are certainly the most safe and effective treatment methods of obesity. change diet to nutrition and regular exercizing would definately help in controlling things. Weight loss surgery is another method - out of these laprascopic is the effective one.
