Answer #1

Answer: The three major ways the body uses energy are:

  • Food intake, digestion and metabolism of the food that is being consumed by the body. This process takes lots of energy to convert the food in to calories as well as energy.
  • When the body is at rest, it uses at least 50 to 60% of energy.
  • Physical activity causes the use of stored energy.

The basal metabolic rate can not speed up with exercise or with supplement as because the metabolic rate is the ability of the body to convert food in to energy and this is internal process.

Hunger is totally occurs and control by the intern mechanism of the body whereas the appetite is condition which is influenced by the food options.

Appetite is associated with obesity because this is influenced by the choice of food available and if the person eats too much, this will result in to increased weight.
