Answer #1

Molarity = moles of solute/litres of solution

Molarity = 3.5 x 10-9

litres of solution = 1L

moles of solute = molarity x litres of solute

moles of solute = 3.5x10-9x 1 L

moles of solute = 3.5x10-9 moles

1 mole = 6.02 x 1023molecules

so total molecules in 3.5x10-9 moles = 3.5x10-9 x 6.02 x 1023 = 21.07 x 1014 or 2.1 x 1015molecules.
So the answer is 2.1 x 1015molecules
