(1) Functions of the Sea Bunny rhinophore:-

(x) the rhinophores are particularly 'fuzzy' allowing for more surface area for this reception to occur on.

(x) The two ears that make the creatures look like bunnies are rhinophores, and they help them to identify chemicals in the water that allow them to find food and mates.

(x) They are hermaphrodites, and their bodies contain both sperm and eggs however they cannot fertilize themselves, so they don't have the numbers that land rabbits do.

(2) the Defense Mechanism of Zebrasoma xanthurum :-

(x)  On each side of the caudal peduncle is a single spine or "scalpel" used for defense or dominance. When not in use the spine is folded down into a groove. Caution needs to be exercised when handling surgeonfish as a cut from its scalpel can cause discoloration and swelling of the skin with a high risk of infection.

(x) The body shape is similar to a Sailfin tang, most obvious when the fish displays its fins when startled, in defense or aggression.
