We explored the importance of diversity, the prevalence of workplace diversity, and how organizations can enhance organizational diversity.

Diversity is one of the concept which is emerging in relation with Business especially HR area because HR deals with people so diverse people affect HR and overall organization performance.

According to me, Diversity can be defined as an area where people from different different background (religion,gender,age,Caste/race etc) gathered and work or act together. i always think that diversity create Chaos and problem because we see people with which our ideas, views, customers, values etc does not match but after studying in group projects in college as well working in offices where we see and interact with people from different culture then i started to see it as positive because diversity helps us to learn something new in any ways like we can learn new languages, new culture, rituals, places, customers by interacting with other people at college or workplace.

A Boston Consulting Group study found that companies with more diverse management teams have 19% higher revenues due to innovation. According to the 2018 Hays Asia Diversity and Inclusion report, improved company culture, leadership and greater innovation were the top three benefits of diversity identified by respondents. so based on these stats, organizational leaders and HR manager needs to make Inclusive environment in which they welcome people from all background and show fair and respectful like work environment so that innovation and profitability takes place in their organization.

for example- Mcdonalds's operate in many countries having different culture so if they hire only US cultured people in all restaurants then they will face customer dissatisfaction but if they hire employees from the same culture as customers then they can serve satisfied services.

also, there is trend that not including diversified employees lead to legal suits like if employer or HR only recruit males or promote only young people then it can bring legal suits under EEOC.

these trends like foster innovation, satisfied customer , No legal issues etc are found and they can impact us at individual level like we as indivdidual are able to know about other people's culture, language, norms, etc so that if we interact with same kind of people then we can manage them. at group level we are able to solve cultural difference with having diverse people and know about them. at organizational level, top management is able to get skilled, diveresed talent from all around the world to make business profitable.
