Suppose that a person bends his knees less while landing, would the force exerted on him by floor greater than when he compressed his knees a lot, why or why not?

Force exerted on him will be lesser in case he bends his legs as when he bends his legs he lengthen the time for which he decelerates and as force exerted on him will be rate of change of momentum, F = dp/dt. as dt increases F will decrease hence he will be less injured.
