Solution 2 Comment on ways to analyze quantitative data

Three forecasting models can be used to analyze this data-

  1. Naive Approach- In this method, last years period actual results are used as the present period for forecasting.Generally used for comparison purpose.
  2. Trend Projections with seasonality-It is an exponential smoothing model consists of three parameters i.e. data, trend and seasonality.Used to obtain the final value of trend, seasonality and trend.
  3. Moving Average-It is the calculation of successive averages derived over series of values.

SOLUTION 3.WHAT SHOULD PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY DO?

Based on the qualitative data we have it is important to resolve all the complaints like parking space problem, traffic problem, uncomfortable seats etc. Since football is a popular sports as it brings people together create a festive atmosphere in the university as people associate themselves with football so much, its time to diverse the strategy so as to live up to the expectation of the spectators by providing them with all the basic amenities so that single penny invested by football fan is worth spend.

I would ask the TQM (Total Quality Department) to list down what all things required and then ask finance department to pass the amount required so that reconstruction of stadium can be started as soon as possible and stadium can be completed well before the next season begins.
