The answer is false.

Explanation:

Arrays are stored in contiguous locations in the memory due to which it's content is easily accessible by its index. Array only store values of same data type. It does not have to store address of consecutive elements inside it whereas in case of chain, along with the value we also have to store addresses of next nodes in the list which increases the memory requirements. Therefore chain wastes more space than the array.
