Answer #1

a)

b1=0.6435

y changes by 0.6435 when x1 increases by 1 unit and x2 stays the same.

b2=0.7037

y changes by 0.7037 when x2 increases by 1 unit and x1 stays the same.

b)Given the regression line

\hat{y}=30.4517+0.6435*x1+0.7037*x2

and

x1=180

x2=310

So,

\hat{y}=30.4517+0.6435*180+0.7037*310

\hat{y}=30.4517+115.83+218.147

\hat{y}=364.4287\approx 364.429

Therefore estimate of y is 364.429
