Commercial off the shelf software are also known as COTS.

The two examples are Oracle and Sybase. Microsoft's windows can also be considered as COTS

The above two mentioned examples are COTS which are licensed to use and also their human resource management processes such as recruiting, payroll, benefits management, onboarding, employee training are done in different parts of the world.
