In this case, remember that the genomic library contains the information of promoters, intros and exons while in a cDNA library we have only the exons which are those segments of DNA that encode for a specific part of the expressed protein. If we compare the distance that occupy a cDNA we will find that is shorter because the introns sequences are not present.
