How to create a performance table for a software?

Please show with an example and explain well please.

The performance table is the output of the Performance Testing means that when we checks for the performance of a software for the stability, time complexity, space complexity etc. then we perform the testing which is called Performance testing and the results of the testing is recorded in a table called the performance table.

And to create a performance table we use various softwares as manually we cannot able to measure the different specs as they all are machines/ machine part and worlks with the syncronized clock of the system. So the different softwares in market are : -

1. Jmeter
2. WebLoad
3. NeoLoad
4. etc

And if want to create a performance table manually you should use the following parameters ; -

1. Processor Usage : - here you have to observe the usage of the process in time ,no of cores accessed by the software.Also to note the time or power used while idle.
2. Memory Usage : - here you have to find the physical memory used for running the program.
3. Disk Storage Usage :- here you need to check for the usage of the hardisk required.
4. Response time: - the time taken by the software for getting the response from the use means when user hits a button then the time to compute that task.
5. Network Usage :- here checke for the internet usage of the software as many software requires a little use of internet then how it is accessing means it may acquire full access or just the efficeint for its task or not using it.
6. Database locks or execution : - here, need to monitor the working with the database means the locks to the tables should be monitored in a database based application.

These are the some of the points on which we manully does the performance testing but they are not enough.So we have different softwares.

For exampe:- Lets take a web Application software of chat server and chatting clients. So here we are using a server for running the server application so now we need to monitor about the CPU usage , Memory consuption , No of users entertained per second/minute etc. because it may stop working at anytime if any of the resource is either full or exhauted its limit the application will be crashed.So this crash will be loss the stability and the economic loss will happen to the company.

This is sample performance test table which tell that for wahta activity and what time the process used how much memory, time and network usage with the result and the error rate means if the login happens on worng input the it will hit an error.

thats it for this but to understand it more please use Jmeter or any tool and check the different metrices.
