Answer #1

Using Pascal's law, the pressure in both the pistons will be same. Let F1 force be applied at piston A and F2 force is received at piston B.

Force required at piston B = 13617N

Now, equating pressure in both the pistons

  \frac{F_{1}}{\pi R_{A}^{2}}=\frac{F_{2}}{\pi R_{B}^{2}}

  \frac{F_{1}}{\pi (4.75)^{2}}=\frac{13617}{\pi (18.52)^{2}}

F_{1}=895.75N

At piston A, 895.75N force must be applied to lift the car.
