3. Because each organism has different temperatures at which they can survive beyond which they comes into dormant stage.

5. Temperature has a great impact on the growth of microorganism, their multiplication cycle and nutrient depletion. During the initial stage of growth curve, microorganisms adapt themselves in broth which consist of specific nutrients require for the growth that phase is called lag phase which is further followed by log phase in which they multiply and increases their number which further followed by stationary phase in which due to lack of nutrients microorganism starts dying and lastly death phase. This all cycle depends within specific temperature limits, that vary from one to another. Some bacteria can grow at freezing temperature while some can grow at thermal temperature. Therefore between the maximum and minimum limits, optimum temperature lies. At temperature, most bacterial strain multiplies vigorously.
