1.When cyclohexene is treated with bromine water then the color change is observed from reddish-brown to colorless,where else if we mix it with cylcohexanol then there is no change in color.

2.we can distinguish both solvents by their physical points i.e. boiling point of cyclohexene is 82.98 degree and melting point is -103degrees while cyclohexanol is having B.P 161.8 degrees M.P 25.93 degrees
