The reaction between NaOH and HCl is given by

NaOH(aq) + HCl(aq) -----> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)

1mole NaOH = 1mole HCl

Thus 10mL of HCl requires 10mL of NaOH solution for neutralization

The concentration of HCl is given by

MHCl.VHCl = MNaOH.VNaOH

MHCl*10.0mL = 0.170 M*10.0 mL

MHCl = 0.170 M
