A semiconductor in which electrical conduction is due chiefly to the movement of positive holes is called p-type semiconductor. Now, Silicon has 4 electrons in the valence shell. If silicon is doped with an element which has 3 valence electrons it will behave like a semi conductor.
Among the dopants Sb and P have 5 valence electrons and Ge has 4 electrons. Only Ga has an electron configuration [Ar] 3d104s24p1 . So, SiGa will be a p-type semiconductor.
