There are two possibilities for at least 5, i.e, 5 & 6

There are four possibilities for less than 5, i.e, 1, 2, 3 & 4

(a). Probability of winning the game = (First Dice \geq 5 and Second Dice \leq 5) or (First Dice \leq 5 and Second Dice \geq 5) = +

(b). Winning = $9

Playing = $4

When winning payout = $9 - $4 = $5

When losing payout = 0 - $4 = -4$

Expected payout = 5 ܗܙܘ .|
