Answer #1

Answer- The correct answer is TRUE. Discrimination means to treat people differently on the basis of their caste, creed, sex, race, religion etc. a business has many objectives like growth, survival, sustainability, earning profit etc. Although earning profit is the primary motive for business but this is not the only goal. A business which is there only to earn profit will soon not be able to achieve it’s objectives as it might be understating other objectives like survival, customer satisfaction etc.

If a business has only one objective of earning profit then it might discriminate between those customers who are consistently purchase goods or services from the business and it may also have certain personal preferences. Such personal preferences may happen due to relations with the customers or due to some other reason which leads to earning of more profit to the business. Hence the business be discriminating in future as well.
