1. If two 3 flats are same in R^n, for n>3 then in the intersection we will get whole 3 flat.

2. If two 3 flats are distinct then intersection of two 3 flats is either empty or flat, that is plane (2 flat).

By this, we will have following solutions for a and b.

Solution a): A- Plane, E- 3 flat, C- Nothing

Solution b) A- Nothing, D- 3flat, E- Plane
