This table is in 2NF since there is not partial dependency in the relation. However, it is not in 3NF since it has a transitive dependency.

b)

The normalized relations are:

CUS (CUS_NUM, CUS_ADDRESS, CUS_PHONE)

INV (INV_NUM, INV_DATE, INV_AMOUNT, CUS_NUM)

The dependencies are:

CUS_NUM -> CUS_ADDRESS, CUS_PHONE

INV_NUM -> INV_DATE, INV_AMOUNT, CUS_NUM
